It then continues through to the supply of high-quality, high performance products which incorporate advanced, innovative technologies.

Hanwha Techwin’s extensive product portfolio provides a wide range of options, including thermal, multi sensor and anti-vandal cameras, as well as multi-channel analogue and IP network video recorders and servers.

The overall solution cost will depend on the design of your system, and any specific operational needs. Two entry-level options are described here.

Hanwha Wisenet Q Series

TThe Hanwha Wisenet Q camera series offer an affordable CCTV solution for small to medium applications within, for example, retail, education and offices environments. The cameras come in 2MP, 4MP and 5MP internal and external versions, all of which are equipped with Intelligent Video Analytics. This range has recently been expanded to include a mini dome and two fisheye cameras, all of which are less than 100mm in diameter.

These models are supplied with the following features to improve operational efficiency and Business Intelligence -

· HDMI live output - for the customer awareness monitor.

· Hallway View - to allow the viewing of vertical shaped areas, such as shopping aisles an corridors.

· License-free people counting and heatmap analytics: enables retailers to monitor how efficient a store is operating and its busiest times, as well as the hot spots within a defined sales area to provide an indication of customer buying patterns and customer flow.

· Wisestream II – Unique to Hanwha Techwin, this video compression technology can greatly reduce bandwidth requirements and data storage costs, without degrading video quality.

The fish eye cameras offer four camera display options - Single Fisheye, Single Panorama, Double Panorama and Quad View mode.

In recent years, it has become apparent that some customers do not want to promote or purchase cameras from Chinese based manufacturers, which is their porogative.

Hanwha Techwin have promoted the fact they are based in South Korea and manufacture their own products. They perform cyber security penetration tests of their products through trusted third-party experts who can make a professional diagnosis using the latest hacking tools and techniques.
